Raw Linseed Oil penetrates and feeds wood leaving little or no surface coating. It is especially recommended for use on oak where it’s slower drying time gives the oil more chance of penetrating this dense structure. It can be applied by brush but is more generally applied with a low lint or lint-free cloth. Raw Linseed Oil is also useful for softening putty and as a lubricant when French Polishing.
